Pot Luck - Series Two

Web (Full Length Episodes) – 2017

Episode One — 'It’s All Sorted'
A lot has changed for Mel (Nikki Si'ulepa), Debs (Anji Kreft) and Beth (Tess Jamieson-Karaha) since the finale of series one. Beth and Anna (Rachel Aneta Wills) are madly in love, as are Debs and Zoe (Tameka Sowman Vahatau). Mel struggles to reconnect with her friends, especially her ex Beth, who is busy with her new girlfriend and increasingly confused mother Eileen (Kate Ward). Debs is also preoccupied; there's something she's reluctant to tell Zoe. This episode also features Karen O’Leary as Debs’ funny but hard-to-manage colleague Donna.

Episode Two — 'The Whole Gang Back Together'
Mel is struggling to get back in her friends' good graces, especially as she’s back to her old promiscuous ways. Beth and Anna are in the honeymoon phase of their new relationship and Anna is encouraging Beth to get respite care for her elderly mother Eileen. Meanwhile, Debs is struggling in her new role managing Donna and Mike (Paul Yates), and also struggling to talk to Zoe about it.

Episode Three — 'That’s Just Bloody Perfect'
Beth and Eileen start interviewing for a caregiver, but have different opinions on who would be best. Deb is starting to settle into her new role, but Zoe accidentally finds out about the promotion and is confused about Debs keeping secrets. Mel is up to her old tricks sleeping with young women — including Toni (Abby Damen), who unbeknownst to Mel has interviewed for a new job. Anna is trying to improve Beth's life, Debs is trying to improve her own reading skills, but both are struggling.

Episode Four — 'Thanks for the Ride'
Mel realises that her new fling Toni is Eileen’s caregiver… oh no! Chaos erupts at Eileen’s house, just as Beth has set off for a romantic weekend with Anna. Meanwhile, Zoe is losing her patience with Debs' secrecy — what does Zoe have to do to be trusted? Mel is working hard to reconnect with her friends, Debs is working hard on her reading, and Toni is working hard to be a great caregiver to Eileen.

Episode Five — 'Snatching Time With You'
Debs is struggling in both her personal and professional life — her wayward colleague Donna is being a nightmare to manage, and Debs still needs to open up to Zoe. Anna wants to take the next step in her relationship with Beth, but Beth worries it’s too soon, especially with Mel hanging around like a bad smell. The good news is that Toni is doing a great job taking care of Eileen, but that doesn't stop something very awkward happening on Toni’s watch!

Episode Six — 'Thoroughly Welcomed to Wellington'
Beth is happy to have more support with her mother Eileen, not just from caregiver Toni but also Eileen’s old friend Tricia (Dra McKay). The friends get together for a pot luck — just like the good old days — but there’s a lot of tension around the table. Mel and Toni's relationship is finally revealed, while Anna keeps stirring up drama by saying things she shouldn’t. But it will all have to wait, as an emergency means all hands on deck! By the night’s end, a lot has changed for the group.
