Telly Laughs - Greatest Hits

Television (Full Length Episode) – 1996

This 45-minute compilation of sketches from Wellington-based production house Gibson Group pokes fun at famous broadcasters and adverts for beer and driver safety. It also parodies James Bond and blockbuster movie The Fugitive. The quickfire series provided an early vehicle for comedians like Jemaine Clement, Cal Wilson, Dave Fane and Oscar Kightley. Highlights include an everyday postie (Clement) morphing into the Arnold Schwarzenegger inspired 'Postie-Man', and Clement and Brian Sergent's pitch-perfect take on Mick Jagger and Keith Richards heading out on yet another 'final' Rolling Stones tour.

Yeah, this is gonna be the last of the...last of our tours that we're ever gonna do...
– Mick Jagger ( Jemaine Clement) is excited by the band's last ever 'last' tour
