Sam Hunt, QSM, is arguably our best-known, best-selling poet. The idiosyncratic Hunt published the first of many poetry collections at the age of 23. Since then he has performed in pubs, schools, and with the NZSO. Hunt can be seen touring with fellow poet Gary McCormick in documentaries The Roaring Forties and Artists Prepare. He has also presented docos about the Cook Strait (Catching the Tide) and the Whanganui River.
