Snail's Pace

Short Film (Full Length) – 1989

Original and quirky ... charts, via knock time-lapse photography, the progress of a snail crossing an asphalt road intent on reaching the lettuce on display outside a small market.
– Reviewer Kevin Thomas in The LA Times, January 1993
Snail's Pace delighted festival audiences last year with its gastropods eye-view of life in the fast lane. Enlivened bya funky soundtrack that mixes Dolby-loud atmosphere with a jerky, musical accompaniment (composed by Michele Scullion), a single day and night flash by in fast forward.
– Helen Martin in The Listener, 2 April 1990 (page 62 of TV Times pullout)
