Television (Full Length Episode) – 1990

Kidult adventure series Raiders of the South Seas is set in 1941 in the town of Whangaparoa, north of Auckland. Wartime anxieties are heightened when local kids Jack (Martin Henderson) Bobby (Dean O'Gorman) and teenager Kate (Rachel Crowther) discover a strange galleon taking trips around the peninsula. In this first episode the town puts on a do for local boys heading off to war, and a floating landmine requires immediate action. Newly arrived Post Office head Lola Dean (Jane Irwin) turns heads with her city style,  and during a secret fishing trip Jack and Bobby collide with a mysterious vessel.
