This adventure series was the last of a run of Kiwi kidult shows written by Roger Simpson, who first hit pay dirt with 1976 gold rush drama Hunter's Gold. The Canadian-Kiwi co-production is set in a seaside town north of Auckland during WWll. Martin Henderson (Shortland Street, Grey's Anatomy) and Dean O'Gorman (The Bad Seed) feature in early screen roles, alongside Canadian Rachel Crowther. The trio of young adventurers discover a mysterious galleon, and get tangled up in landmines and smuggling plots.
