Desray Armstrong

Desray Armstrong has built up a diverse slate of production credits since 2004. Aside from producing acclaimed short films (Ellen is Leaving) and TV shows (police drama Harry, Māori musical instrument series Haumanu), she has been a production manager or production coordinator on a run of screen projects — from international films shooting downunder (Slow West), to Kiwi stories (Tangiwai - A Love Story). In 2018 Armstrong produced her first feature, acclaimed romance Stray. Amidst the challenges of covid, in 2021 she managed to complete three films in a single year — Juniper, Coming Home in the Dark and Millie Lies Low.
