This series was filmed in Patumahoe village near Pukekohe. The farm is in nearby Mauku.

I'm from the UK and loved this series!! I bought the DVD a few years back and it is now on my sister's DVD shelf for her children to watch :)

Where in new Zealand is it filmed. I used to make the brass daisy out of cardboard and tubes. I now own the dvd. Classic!

Hi I have always loved this story and can't wait for it to be produced as a film. I have some questions though.
1. Where is the Farm and shelter locations?
2. In the story Ronny's Care givers talk about the power in the swamp which may suggest that they had put kolob together earlier?
3. Why didn't someone make a sequel?
4. where are the cast Today?

Little known fact: Credits show as MCMLXXIV (1974) when in actuality should be MCMLXXXIV (1984).
