Model turned meteorologist Penelope Barr opens the celebration and asks Fashion Quarterly editor Paula Ryan and hairdresser Paul Huege de Serville about the trends for 1990. Major labels including Thornton Hall, Peppertree, Exposay and Rosaria Hall showcase ready to wear, swimwear and after five looks for the summer season. Linen jackets, polka dots and pleats feature, while nautical stripes and gold accessories are must haves. Silky voice-overs from actor John Callen and saxophone-heavy pop add to the glamorous vibe.
