Celebrating the communities of Aotearoa, this 2014 Neighbourhood episode has country musician Tami Neilson showing off her home of Waimauku — a North Auckland seaside village. Originally from Canada, Neilson had a colourful upbringing, living on the road with her touring family band. She reflects on her fascinating family and new life as a Kiwi, including how Aotearoa inspired her to explore her First Nations heritage. Other features include a Hungarian-German woman who keeps horses, a Dutch mother who found community through the Lions Club, a Malaysian flax-weaver, and a Chinese-Kiwi jeweller.
