Rekt - Full Series

Web (Full Length Episodes) – 2017

Episode One — 'Restart'
Fresh from their win at the Upper North Island Quake tournament, the team is over the moon, until a run-in with a rival crew and news that Quake is shutting down its servers threatens their esports future. Just as their dreams seem to be over, a new opportunity comes their way.

Episode Two — 'Fracture'
The team is officially recognised as New Zealand’s Team Fortress 2 squad, set to compete internationally against Australia, but one member is missing from the ceremony. After the celebrations, Alan (Alan Morrison) drops a shocking announcement that threatens to change everything.

Episode Three — 'Enemy'
After announcing his departure to the group, Alan breaks the news to latecomer Johnny (Rowan Bettjeman). The team meets to find a replacement and Richard (Hamish Parkinson) thinks he’s found the perfect fit. But when the new recruit arrives, Johnny is less than impressed with who’s been chosen.

Episode Four — 'Contract'
Johnny struggles to get along with new team member, Konnor (Ben Van Lier), while Richard’s financial troubles threaten the team’s chances of competing. Desperate to keep things afloat, Richard hatches a plan to secure funding and legitimise the team, but it may be leading them straight into a sketchy deal.

Episode Five — 'Training'
The tournament is approaching fast and the team is assigned a government-appointed sports trainer, coach Colin (Cohen Holloway), to whip them into shape in spite of his lack of gaming experience. Trading consoles for an obstacle course, the team is sent into an outdoor boot camp with only two weeks before the tournament.

Episode Six — 'Betrayal'
Coach Colin works hard to win the team’s trust, starting with picking up matching uniforms from Leslie (Yvette Parsons) to build morale. Meanwhile, worlds collide for PJ (JJ Fong) when she runs into her popular friends who wouldn’t be caught dead hanging out with gamer nerds. PJ’s team members wonder just how much she’s hiding.

Episode Seven — 'Grudge'
Coach Colin ups the stakes with a paintball battle to sharpen the team’s skills. Johnny takes charge, but Konnor splits from the group to go his own way. When they run out of ammo, PJ must rally the team and Konnor has to step up for the group if they’re going to survive.

Episode Eight — 'Truce'
Training hits a low point after Konnor's departure, and the team’s chances of competing hinge on convincing him to return. Konnor broods alone, reluctant to patch things up — especially with Johnny — leaving the team fighting to repair both their line-up and their trust.

Episode Nine — 'Showdown'
With the team reunited, it’s time to face Australia, but the stakes have never been higher — under the harsh terms of their contract, a loss would ban them from all future esports tournaments. Coach Colin leads the team in some All Blacks-level pre-game intimidation before they take on their toughest challenge yet.

Episode Ten — 'Unite'
With the tournament underway, the team confronts PJ about hiding behind a hoody and sunglasses to avoid her judgmental friends jeering from the sidelines. The team gives everything in the final showdown, but it’s up to PJ to find her confidence and prove she can hold her own, all while the contract’s fine print threatens more complications.
