Does anyone recall the concert in Wellington's old Town Hall, and the name of their song which started dust particles to "mist" the stage?
Auduence thought "Oo, special effects".
Then as the song went into the chorus crescendo, the ceiling above the stage collapsed and dropped dead pigeons, eggs and nesting material and dusty debris.
Everyone (band included) froze - "Is this an earthquake?"
But one raced to front stage and said "Well, Kenny, now we can honestly say "we brought the house down", and they carried on
- with stage hands (in black) creeping around the stage wiping plaster dust from speakers, amps, keyboards, and sweeping up the detritus.
Man it was funny!
I'd LOVE to recall the song that did it.
I Think it was "Something's Burning" but hope someone can confirm.

Awesome! In 1974, I was 15 years of school girl and attended their concert held at Tauranga's Queen Elizabeth Youth Centre.

Wonderful seeing Tony's doco again. Brings back wonderful memories, especially being with Kenny and the gang on the bus and at the poolside concert at the Campion's in Te Horo.
