The idea for Ross and Beth and the idea for Bellbird kind of started with imagining if one of them were to suddenly go, how would the other cope? And I think with that generation in particular, as much as the male is often the frontperson for that couple, it's often the mum or the female who's the driving force and in many ways the stronger one...
