Matt Heath and Chris Strapp bought their bogan TV series Back of the Y to the big screen for this movie, which follows Randy Cambell's rocket car-driven mission to be "New Zealand’s greatest living stuntman". Blood and petrol-fuelled mayhem ensues, as Cambell (Stapp) is hobbled by evil stuntman Dick Johansonson (Heath) and romances a one-legged stuntwoman. At American festival South by Southwest, the film was praised by Cinematical's Scott Weinberg as a "loud, raucous and adorably stupid" cross between Mad Max, Mad magazine and Jackass. The closing credits feature Back of the Y stunts from over the years.

It's like a cross between The Road Warrior, Mad Magazine and Jackass, basically, and the flick packs more chuckles into 75 minutes than Mr Sandler generally packs into five movies combined...
