Oshyn, Kahu and Michaela are three young mums from Auckland who fell pregnant at high school. Conversations with Teen Mums follows the women in three seperate half-hour documentaries, as they raise their children whilst still growing up themselves. The women share many similiar circumstances and sentiments, especially around their drive for education. Oshyn aspires to be a police officer, whilst Kahu and Michaela are working towards their University Entrance. The documentaries are part of a photography and interview series, which profiles 16 young mothers in New Zealand.
I want a stable job, stable income and to know that I have money for his needs and maybe a bit of his wants, now and then.– Oshyn, early in Oshyn's Story
