Girl vs. Boy - Series One

Television (Full Length Episodes) – 2012

In Girl vs. Boy's first season, an idyllic seaside suburb is turned upside down by the break-up of a 'perfect' teenage couple. The well-meaning Maxine (Courtney Abbot) sets out to investigate what went wrong, and whether The Bay can ever return to its former state of bliss. Created by David Stubbs and Thomas Robins (web mystery series Reservoir Hill), this comedy for young adults provides plenty of quirky set-ups and one-liners for the large ensemble cast. Several went on to have successful screen careers, including Emma Draper (Reunion), Josh McKenzie (Filthy Rich) and Chris Parker (Golden Boy). Check out the guide to all eight episodes here.

I can't arrest someone for making a crappy film. If we could, we would have arrested half of Hollywood years ago.
– A policewoman (Vanessa Stacey) deals with unrest in the video store, in episode two
