Reservoir Hill - Everyone Lies

Web (Full Length) – 2010

The second season of this twist-filled web series (here cut together into one feature)  wastes little time in laying on the Twin Peaks-style freakiness. Waking up outside her house, Beth (Beth Chote) gets accused of murder. Abrupt mood swings, showdowns with school colleagues, and dark dreams involving her family increase her anxiety over what her past holds. Reservoir Hill's first season won a Digital Emmy. Everyone Lies took the interactive aspects in new directions. Viewers could enter a hidden website, talk with the show's characters on Facebook, and explore Beth's dreams via a page on TVNZ's website.

You know all that matters now is family — our family.
– Mrs Jay (Carmel McGlone) to Beth (Beth Chote), early in Everyone Lies
