In this comedy web series from YouTubers Viva La Dirt League, a group of misfits attempt to represent New Zealand in a video game competition. Cursed by financial woes, dodgy officials, rocky friendships and cruel bullies, the team have a lot to overcome if they're to win the $10 million prize money. Rekt was made by the Viva La Dirt League team of Rowan Bettjeman, Adam King and Alan Morrison, who also act in the series. They're joined by Hamish Parkinson (A Familiar Feeling), JJ Fong (Creamerie) and Arlo Gibson (Notes from a Fish). Cohen Holloway (Badjelly) plays their coach whose games knowledge is limited to rugby.
