Warkworth steps in for the fictional town of Weld in this popular comedy/drama. Australian-based Kiwi Erik Thomson (Packed to the Rafters) plays Sydneysider George Turner, a newspaper columnist who moves back to his childhood home in New Zealand with his two teenagers, after the death of his wife. In the first episode, the family encounter a string of both humorous and tragic misfortunes as they try to set up their new home but it's not over yet. The ensemble cast of loveable locals features such familiar faces as Jonny Brugh (What We Do In the Shadows), Cian Elyse White (Vegas), and Rick Donald (Educators).
