Darryl Ward

Darryl Ward began his career as a stills photographer, before becoming a prolific director and cinematographer on music videos, commercials and films. In the advertising world, Ward has helmed campaigns fronted by such names as Pharrell Williams (for Smirnoff) and Iggy Pop (for Orcon Broadband, a Cannes Grand Prix winner). Closer to home, he has made music videos for artists Shihad, Bic Runga and Dimmer, and shot numerous shorts and feature films. His documentary work includes Capital in the 21st Century and Never Look Away. Ward was a co-founder of production company Curious Films.
