We were so lucky we toured with Sir Howard, part of the whānau, I have to say that I learned so much from that tour … I can now play on the ukulele 'Me He Manu Rere', 'Pā Mai', 'Hoki Mai,' all these songs that I still play today. But honing that craft and of course watching the master himself Sir Howard is just so wonderful. He is just so giving to the young performers.
