To Sir With Love: A Tribute to Sir Howard Morrison

Television (Full Length) – 2008

To Sir with Love is a tribute concert for one of Aotearoa’s entertainment legends, Sir Howard Morrison. Appropriately, The Lady Killers open the evening with Lulu hit 'To Sir with Love'. Then host Pio Terei invites a who’s who of Kiwi artists to perform. Sir Howard stands to applaud every act and joins the Howard Morrison Quartet for a bilingual medley of old school hits and Māori singalong anthems. The performances range from Tiki Taane singing his hit 'Always on My Mind', to Dame Malvina Major’s operatic take on 'Pokarekare Ana'. The night ends with Sir Howard leading the cast for 'How Great Thou Art'/'Whakaaria Mai'.

That song was called nothing but dreams and Sir Howard I have realised many of my dreams thanks to you.
