Episode One — Road Trip
Five friends (Andrew Craik, Calum Gittins, Chye-Ling Huang, Amanda Tito, Kayne Ngātokowhā Peters) hit the road for the classic Kiwi road trip! But amongst the banter and the beers, something sinister begins to unfold, turning their campervan from a pleasure vehicle into a prison. Confined together under terrifying circumstances, what will it take to turn these best mates into deadly enemies?
Episode Two — Haka Atua
Cameron is a young lad (Raaz Alfassi-Berman) who dreams of rugby stardom. When he receives unexpected help from a shadowy stranger — in the form of a mysterious book — his mother (Bryony Barker) starts to worry about him. The book teaches Cameron a haka with unbridled potential, but as he becomes a rugby pro in adulthood (Kawhia Chambers), it is clear the haka also comes with heavy consequences.
Episode Three — Tourist Trap
Stuck in his rainy English apartment, a Londoner (Tian Tan) dreams of visiting Queenstown, New Zealand. With the holiday out of his budget, he instead takes a VR tourism trip — that is plagued with supernatural forces. Only at the end of the experience, does he begin to understand what happened to the ghostly couple (Joseph Moukhtar, Mia Maramara) who haunted him.
Episode Four — The Ranger
Birdsong. Bush. Waves breaking gently on the shore. It's a quiet, calm life for the ranger (Simon Ward) of a New Zealand regional park. But that's all about to change, at the arrival of rowdy tourists (Hamish Annan, Paul Trimmer, Becky Kuek, Mayen Mehta, Aisling Doyle), who quickly find out just how seriously the ranger takes his job.
Episode Five — Milk
Dale (Taylor Hall) is in high spirits — he's just been awarded New Zealand's Young Farmer of the Year! Taking his camcorder out on a tour of his dairy farm, there are some crucial details that he is leaving out. Namely that he has human hosts (Natasha Daniel, Gal Hochman) for the milk on this farm, kept against their will in his back shed.
Episode Six — Burn Time
All alone in an isolated beach bach, a young woman (Britt Scott Clark) learns the importance of sunscreen after being exposed to an unusual solar flare. As her sunburn develops in shocking ways, she fights to (literally) keep the skin on her body.
