Episode One - Carpe Diem
Jess (JJ Fong) announces to her flatmates that she’s swearing off men — but when dishy landlord (Yoson An) turns up, sticking to her plan proves harder than expected. At her new job, Lee (Ally Xue) meets office bully Ken (Florence Noble), while life-drawing model Dan (Dan Cowley) tries to make a move. Meanwhile, Perlina (Perlina Lau) reconnects with an ex.
Episode Two - Teacher
Jess takes an acting class to develop her skills, only to fall victim to the fiercely intense mentor Madeleine (Madeleine Sami). Still struggling to fit in at her new job, Lee sees an opportunity for a new gay best friend in co-worker Fia (Taofia Pelesasa), and later has a strange encounter with life-drawing model Dan after her art class.
Episode Three - Man Talk, Baby
It’s Perlina’s birthday party, and while getting to know her first gay bestie Fia (Taofia Pelesasa), she realises she’s been neglecting an old friend. A slightly disgruntled Nic (Nic Sampson) turns up to the celebration, and he and Fia soon find themselves competing for Perlina’s attention.
Episode Four - Sale Now One
Jess runs into her sister Xana (Xana Tang) and brother-in-law Leon (Jordan Selwyn) at a discount homeware sale. Perlina begins to question what really happened between Jess and Leon on Xana’s wedding day. Inspired by a pushy homeware store mascot (Shavaughn Ruakere), Lee decides it’s time to turn the flat into a proper home.
Episode Five - The White Album
Jess (played by Kimberley Crossman) attempts to make the transition into theatre, but a creepy proposition leaves her wondering whether she’ll have to sleep her way ahead in the industry. Lee (played by Olivia Tennet) lets Dan show her his world, and Perlina (played by Chelsea McEwan Millar) proves that she and Nic really can just be friends.
Episode Six - The Game
Lee experiments with the idea of having a home of her own, and picks up a few gambling tricks to face off against office nemesis Ken. Jess wrestles with her decision about sleeping with the theatre director and pours all her energy into perfecting her Long Island accent for an show. After receiving dating advice from Nic, Perlina bumps into hottie Winston (Pua Magasiva).
Episode Seven - The Christmas Special
‘Tis the season of hard truths: Jess makes her theatrical debut only to receive scathing reviews. Perlina begins to wonder if she’s got the wrong idea about her relationship with Winston. Meanwhile, Lee discovers that she and office nemesis Ken might have more common ground than she initially thought.
