Friday Night Bites - Series Two

In season two of this comedy series, Perlina (Perlina Lau), Lee (Ally Xue) and Jessy (JJ Fong) continue to poke fun at life for twentysomethings in Auckland. Running between three and 13 minutes long, each "bite" stands alone, ranging from down to earth toilet humour (not being able to fart during a one night stand — episode three), to the darkly absurd (old white people harvesting the youth of women of colour — episode seven). Co-created by its three stars and director Roseanne Liang, Friday Night Bites features a slew of guest cameos — from the likes of Tom Sainsbury to Jennifer Ward-Lealand and David Fane (who plays Death, in the final episode).
