Conversations with Teen Mums is a multimedia project that combines film, photography and interviews to tell the stories of 16 young mothers in Aotearoa. Directed by Juliette Veber (Trouble is My Business), and produced by Vicky Pope (Gardening with Soul, Savage), it includes three half-hour documentaries, profiling teen mums Oshyn, Kahu and Michaela. Combining interviews with fly-on-the-wall footage, the audience gains insight on the daily lives of the women, as they juggle parenthood with their own education and making a living. The Conversations with Teen Mums collection is housed on a website of the same name.
