Friendly aliens Posy and Narkers have a lot to learn about planet earth — from how supermarkets work, to letter writing, to rubbish sorting — lessons that are also helpful for the pre-school age audience watching at home. Posy and Narker were brought to life by Lynda Milligan and Chris Harding respectively, who acted inside full-body creature suits; their alien pet Fuzzy Wuzzy was a puppet. Each episode included a rotating cast of enthusiastic children, and a song or two, often performed by Christchurch acting legend Janice Gray as the quirky Mrs Mercury. The series filmed in Christchurch in the mid 1990s, with over 40 episodes made.
