After developing public safety campaign Keep It Real Online, Auckland company Motion Sickness created The Eggplant. The amusing yet sobering seven-part web series touches on the darker side of the internet and social media, including cyberbullying and consent. The aim: helping teens make considered decisions online, by disguising PSA style info as a "drama-crime-comedy". Made for the Department of Internal Affairs, it debuted on YouTube and TVNZ OnDemand. Starring are Karen O'Leary and many other Kiwi comedy talents.
