Jeremy 'Newsboy' Wells first gained fame as Mikey Havoc’s sidekick on a series of zany radio and TV shows. In 2003, he began hosting seven seasons of the satirical show Eating Media Lunch. Wells later showcased his wry, deadpan style on The Unauthorised History of New Zealand and Birdland. In 2018, he joined Hilary Barry to co-host Seven Sharp and went on to present multiple seasons of comedy panel show Taskmaster NZ.

Jeremy Wells first found fame under the moniker Newsboy, on a popular series of TV and radio shows he co-hosted with exuberant DJ Mikey Havoc. He went on to be the deadpan host of long-running satirical show Eating Media Lunch. Wells joined Hilary Barry, co-hosting primetime news show Seven Sharp, and presided as the eponymous Taskmaster in comedy panel series Taskmaster NZ.
