Comedian, singer and presenter Pio Terei, MNZM, has shown his talents across a host of TV shows — from comedy (Pio!, The Life and Times of Te Tutu ) to fishing (Tangaroa with Pio) and quiz show It's in the Bag. Twice judged best comedy performer at the NZ TV Awards, Pio has also written and acted for anthology series Mataku, and presented his own talk show. He travelled Aotearoa on foot, for Te Araroa: Tales from the Trails.

Biography

Pio Terei is one of television’s great survivors. He has carved himself a career as a Māori entertainer, and feels passionate about both those roles. He has always been proud of being Māori, and has always entertained easily and effortlessly.
