Robyn Paterson (actor)

South African-born Robyn Paterson began acting at age 14, with a role in Shortland Street. In 2006 she completed a Bachelor of Performing Arts at Unitec in Auckland; she has also studied acting in New York. Her work for television has included Go Girls, The Almighty Johnsons, and Australian drama ANZAC Girls, plus a brief return to Shorty in 2010 — this time as a love interest for Chris Warner. Paterson's first big screen leading role was in 2019, as Rachel in romance Same but Different. In the same period she began teaching acting in London. Paterson is not to be confused with the Zimbabwe-born presenter turned director of the same name.

Robyn is extremely well-versed in her craft and has been working on it for nearly 15 years. We were blessed to have her. Rachel Aneta Wills, producer of 2019 movie Same But Different, in an interview with Curve website, 9 September 2019
