Oranga Tamariki youth worker turned internet sensation William Waiirua (aka William Cribb) is easily identified thanks to his cyclops sunnies and hip thrusts. After gaining thousands of followers on social media platforms, Waiirua quickly became a Kiwi favourite, boosting 'moraale' with his iconic humour. In 2017, he released track 'Wowee' with Vince Harder, and, the same year, a viral video covering Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' in te reo. Waiirua came fourth in Dancing With the Stars then played multiple roles on Māori Television skit show Whatta Beauty (2020). In 2022 he joined the AM team as "roving weather presenter".
