In documentary series Anthems: New Zealand's Iconic Hits, Kiwi songwriters and music industry professionals talk about the creation of some of New Zealand's most influential and memorable pop songs. Each episode explores a different aspect of the pop business, including songwriting, live performance and finding an audience,  and uses the stories behind hits like 'Bliss', 'Melting Pot', 'Don’t Dream It’s Over', 'Why Does Love Do This to Me' and 'Royals' to explore each theme. Interviewees include members of When the Cat's Away, Zane Lowe from Apple Music, Tiki Taane, Jon Toogood and Ella Yelich O'Connor (aka Lorde).
