Bumble

Television, 1999–2002

Bumble mixed music, puppetry, educational content, and the voices of kids TV presenters Jason Gunn and Olly Ohlson. Aimed at preschoolers, the show featured songs that wormed their way into many older minds. Bumble is set in Kiwifruit Valley, home to the fun-loving Bumble (a walking, talking bee, voiced by Gunn), his bilingual mate Fishy (iconic 1980s presenter Ohlson) and three mice: Peek, Boo, and Anna. It was the first childrens series from Christchurch company Whitebait Productions (now Whitebait Media).
