Homegrown

Television, 2008

In this series, presenter Te Radar mixes humour and history as he explores the story of New Zealand's produce and natural resources. Across seven episodes, Radar (aka comedian and history enthusiast Andrew Lumsden) looks at how the country has been shaped by sheep (first episode), kiwifruit, cows, beer, timber,  seafood and gold. The series was made by Auckland company Imagination Television. It is not to be confused with Jude Dobson's earlier show of the same name, which was about raising children.
