Reb Fountain

Californian-born singer-songwriter Reb Fountain arrived in New Zealand with her family at the age of 11. After playing in bands in Dunedin and Christchurch, she studied jazz singing in Seattle and lived in New York and London. Now based in Auckland, she released her first solo album Like Water in 2006 followed by Holster in 2008. After a significant break, she returned in June 2017 with both an album, Little Arrows, and EP Hopeful and Hopeless, to high accolades. Having previously self-released her work, Fountain signed to Flying Nun in 2020, going on to release Taite Music Prize winning album Reb Fountain in 2020, followed by Iris in 2021.
