From the Album A New Aesthetic (2008)

In this artistic and highly visual music video from alt-rockers Decortica, the trio's angsty song receives a fun, painterly treatment. Illustrator/director Leah Morgan silhouettes footage of the band performing against changing backdrops, splashes of colour and other kaleidoscope-like effects. This visual style was having quite a moment in the early 2000s, made popular by a widespread campaign for the iPod that also combined green screen footage with playful VFX. 'Macchina' appeared on Decortica's debut album A New Aesthetic and the video for the single went into high rotation on music television in 2008.
