Ben Hurley (7 Days) hosts this comedy showcase from Sky City Theatre in Auckland. The 12 strong line-up is high on fresh stand-up talent, and among the names are four comedians who would become familiar faces on Kiwi screens: Guy Williams (Jono and Ben, New Zealand Today) Urzila Carlson (7 Days) James Roque (Only in Aotearoa and comedy trio Fricken Dangerous Bro) and Rose Matafeo (Funny Girls), who has gone on to a global comedy career. Gags abound about dating and accents, and Roque reminisces about his time working as a shelf artist ("it's a thing") at Pak'n Save.
