The third series of K Road Chronicles turns its focus to the support networks helping people move beyond homelessness. Community journalist and former rough sleeper Six shares the stories of people experiencing homelessness around Auckland’s Karangahape Road. She visits mobile laundry and shower service, Orange Sky. She also speaks with Howard, who once lived in his van with two dogs, and reflects on the difference Orange Sky made to his mindset. Six also meets Paolo, a current user of the service, who explains how Orange Sky supports his nomadic lifestyle.
