Domestic duties prove a full-time job in this episode of reality series Pioneer House, as the 21st century Feyen family continue their life in the early 1900s. With dad Michael off to work and the children at school, mum Janice faces gruelling days of housework, from hand washing the family’s clothes to ironing and scrubbing floors. Anneke, as the eldest girl, is put to work at home straight after school, while Michael and his son find a more masculine way to spend their time — building a chicken coop. The arrival of some new feathered friends at Elgin Street provides a welcome distraction.
