Model turned actor Ido Drent first won fans playing Daniel Potts in soap Shortland Street. Drent then made his mark in Australia after playing a young therapist in Offspring, and drummer Jon Farriss in miniseries INXS: Never Tear Us Apart. Back in New Zealand, Drent portrayed a Gallipoli soldier in 2015 miniseries When We Go to War.
