Actor Paul Ellis is best known for playing bad boy Fergus Kearney on Shortland Street. After leaving the show, he appeared on television screens in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the US, including The Chosen, Celebrity Treasure Island, Legend of the Seeker, and British soccer drama Dream Team. He also featured in showbusiness satire Auckland Daze.
