Zambian-born Kiwi Tandi Wright has been nominated for acting awards for her work in both comedies (Serial Killers) and dramas (2006 movie Out of the Blue).  Her television resume includes ongoing roles in Shortland StreetBeing Eve, hit comedy Willy Nilly and three seasons of Nothing Trivial. In 2020 she played the Kiwi prime minister in web series Third Term (which she co-created with her husband, Michael Beran).

Biography

Although she began acting at primary school, Tandi Wright didn't feel confident about calling herself an actor until she turned 30. Since she began on Shortland Street in 1995, Wright has had a prolific and diverse acting career.
