Producer Deb Cope has worked in New Zealand television for over two decades. After cutting her teeth at the BBC, then as a production manager back home in Auckland, Cope moved into line producing in the 2010s including on miniseries Hillary, and TV movies The Kick and Why Does Love?. She has produced on well-known series Jonah, Under the Vines, and Mystic. In 2015 Cope launched her company Fearless Productions with producer Carmen J Leonard. Their first project, award-winning TV movie Runaway Millionaires, told the true story of a Rotorua couple who fled Aotearoa after mistakenly being transferred $10 million.
