Keith Hunter is an award-winning writer and documentary maker, known for his investigations into miscarriages of justice. His screen credits include documentaries The Remand of Ivan Curry, Out of the Dark, and Murder on the Blade?, about the Scott Watson case. Hunter has also directed drama and comedy on everything from Mortimer's Patch and Letter to Blanchy, to award-winning teleplay Staunch.

Although best known for his investigations into miscarriages of justice, Keith Hunter's work for the screen has ranged widely: from arts and current affairs reporting, to directing drama, comedy and documentaries on everything from wild horses to Auckland radio.
