As a director, Kingi Rummler has mined dark, sometimes darkly comic tales both in short films, and in award-winning features Christmas and A Song of Good. He has also written shorts for other directors (including Bird and festival success Brave Donkey).

Biography

Working on video instead of film, writer/director Kingi Rummler quickly made a name as a distinctive voice, in the period before digital filmmaking become the norm. At that point he was known as Gregory King; his first feature, dysfunctional family story Christmas (2003), was followed by A Song of Good (2008).
