When Peter Cox dreamed up The Insiders Guide to Happiness as a young writer, he never thought it would be made into a TV series. But he was proved wrong when it became an award-winning drama, and even spawned a prequel. Cox found further screen success as co-creator of TV thriller The Cult and mockumentary The Pretender. His Australian goldmining drama New Gold Mountain followed in late 2021.

Biography

Hamilton-raised Peter Cox was an award-winning young playwright when he began his Master of Arts in Scriptwriting at Victoria University. At the age of 26, he dreamed up a thesis project that would propel him to a level of success few university graduates could hope for.
