Robyn Malcolm is one of New Zealand television’s best-loved actors. An accomplished stage performer before moving into screen roles, she is best known for six seasons as Outrageous Fortune matriarch Cheryl West. Malcolm has appeared in television (Shortland Street, Agent Anna, After the Party), movies (This Town, The Hopes and Dreams of Gazza Snell) and documentaries (Our Lost War).
I think as an actress she has the ability to be an everywoman on screen, with a huge amount of craft and skill behind it. Outrageous Fortune director Simon Bennett in The Listener, 28 July 2007
