Kiwi Features at the 2022 NZ International Film Festival

The Kiwi feature films at Whānau Mārama: the 2022 NZ International Film Festival leaned heavily towards documentary. The festival kicked off in Auckland on 28 July, before travelling across New Zealand. Check out these trailers for some of the local entries — from hard-hitting drama Muru, inspired by the 2007 Urewera raids, to documentaries about Gloriavale, quirky farmers and state care survivor Fa'amona John Luafutu. Note: the festival also includes a number of other Kiwi titles, but the trailers have not been finalised yet.
