AotearoHA

Television (Full Length) – 2007

I grew up with a lot of white people man. And I'm not just saying this because I want to be on TV3, hell no.
– Comedian Vela Manusaute on TV3's audience demographic
...these comedians are correspondents sending back bulletins from a world most of us don't inhabit and too many of us don't know. We should be listening.
– Denis Edwards in an NZ Herald review of this special, 1 November 2007
..Andre King slopes in to deliver some laid back yet somehow in-your-face attitude about horny cops and being an educated Mâori. He's got his audience where he wants them, and his ribbing of the Indian culture receives possibly the biggest laugh of the night. In contrast, Vela Manusaute would be the most controversial performance of the night, his 'anti-anti-smacking' philosophy being aggressively demonstrated.
– Nik Smythe, in a Theatreview review of the original live show, 20 May 2007
